If your website is important to your business - if it generates leads, sells products, or represents your brand - then yes. An unmaintained WordPress site is a ticking clock: outdated plugins create security holes, page speed degrades, and small problems become expensive emergencies. A maintenance plan costs a fraction of what it costs to recover from a hack or rebuild a broken site.

If your site is hacked while on one of our plans, we clean it up and restore it at no additional charge. We'll remove the malware, patch the vulnerability, restore from a clean backup if needed, and harden security to prevent it from happening again. For clients not on a maintenance plan, hack cleanup is available as a separate service.

It depends on your plan. Basic clients receive a response within 24 hours. Standard clients within 4 hours. Premium clients within 1 hour during business hours (Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM Pacific). Outside business hours, emergencies are addressed by the next business morning for Basic and Standard, and within 4 hours for Premium.

You can, but there are risks. Updating WordPress, themes, and plugins without testing first can break your site. We test every update in a staging environment before applying it to your live site. We also know which plugin combinations cause conflicts and how to resolve them quickly. If you're comfortable with the technical side, we're happy to teach you - but most Fraser Valley business owners prefer to spend their time on their business, not on WordPress maintenance.

Content updates include changes like updating text on existing pages, swapping out images, adding team member bios, changing business hours, updating pricing, adding new menu items, or similar edits to existing content. They don't include designing new pages from scratch, building new features, or major redesigns - those would be quoted as separate projects.

Absolutely. We maintain WordPress websites regardless of who built them. During the onboarding health assessment, we'll review your site's setup and flag any pre-existing issues. If the site has serious structural problems, we'll give you an honest assessment and options - sometimes a few targeted fixes are all that's needed, and sometimes a rebuild makes more financial sense.

We recommend hosting providers but don't offer hosting directly. This keeps things transparent - your hosting account is in your name, and you're never locked in. We work with all major WordPress-friendly hosting providers and can help you migrate to a better host if your current one is slow or unreliable.

Additional content updates beyond your plan's monthly allotment are billed at an hourly rate. If you consistently need more than your plan allows, we'll recommend upgrading to the next tier - it's almost always more cost-effective than paying hourly overages.
